I’ve recently moved to The Forest of Dean from West Yorkshire, a 200 mile relocation, so in effect I’m starting from scratch in this area. That’s why the name Forest Plumbing is new to you, but one you will get to know. I’m looking to cover around a 15 mile radius of Cinderford, but I’m happy to travel further afield if required.
If you are thinking of fitting a kitchen or bathroom yourself, click the box below.
Thinking of DIY?
Thinking of fitting it yourself? You’ve seen the makeover shows, looks easy, bish, bash, bosh, you’ve got a toolbox in the garage, you can do it….. maybe, but it isn’t as easy as you might think to install a proper job.
Have you all the right tools and expertise, when are you going to fit it? Weekends, evenings, time off work?
Trust me when I tell you it really is not worth it. (Don’t use it as an excuse to go buy a load of new power tools!)
At best all you will save, is some money, at worst you will just cause yourself a load of aggravation, arguments and fall outs with partners, never-ending TV & microwave meals, bathing at the parents house or the job could take weeks/months/years/never get finished! (It happens)
I fit my first kitchen at 15 years of age, for a neighbour, I’ve been doing this now for well over 30 years. My advice is if you are thinking of DIY, think long and hard, why not just do some overtime and let me deal with the job, seriously, your time is too precious, why put yourself and the family through the hassle?
I deal with this type of work all the time, problem solving and finding the right solution is my forte.
Instead of taking time off to try and fit a new kitchen or bathroom, spend it with your family and let me deal with the fitting,. In the words of Del Boy “you know it makes sense“.
So good people of the Forest of Dean & The Wye Valley, my name is Neil and hopefully we can get to know each other soon.
